Ah! That precious time…
As a London Newborn Photographer and Mum to two little ones, I know just how precious and fleeting these first few weeks with the baby are.
They are tough. I know. But from the day you hold your little one for the first time, you also marvel at how such little souls can take over your whole lives. How can you love someone SO MUCH in such a short time!
You look at your partner holding the baby tenderly.
You look at your elder one playing with the baby’s toes, sometimes jumping too hard near the baby. So much so that your heart skips a beat.
You want to make a time capsule and just freeze these moments forever.
So that you can remember the newest member of your family. Just how tiny they were when they first arrived. Just how perfect.
You want to remember the smell of newborn skin…the twirl in the littlest of hair strands…the tiny fingers as they held yours…and the perfect tiny ten little toes. You want to remember it all. And I am here to help you do just that. I understand.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Get In Touch
A quick informal 15 minute call is the fastest, simplest way of getting to know the process. I can answer any questions you might have about working with me.
This is a zero-pressure call.
Only if we are a good fit, we can go to the next step of booking.
Session Fee of £100 (M-F) or £125 for weekends is payable to secure your booking.
Since newborns don’t exactly come on a schedule, when you book, we don’t book a set date. We will discuss dates when the baby is in your arms.
2. Have an amazing session
Newborn Sessions are held at your home. They are extremely casual and relaxed. While I will be gently guiding you, your baby will not be posed traditionally.
They usually last between 60-90 minutes.
The way I describe it is the baby is my boss for the day! :) We will take as many breaks as the baby requires for feeding and nappy changes.
In between these breaks, I will capture a sliver of your morning with your newborn in your arms.
3. Enjoy Your Images
….all from the comfort of your own home.
Two-ish weeks after your session, I will come back to you with your full gallery of at least 50 images to choose from.
This is when you can touch and feel all samples to see if there is a wall art or album that you like.
I provide a Complimentary Design Service to all my families. This allows them to see how images their will look on their own walls, before they make any purchases.
