In-Home Family Photo Session in Wimbledon SW19
I had a wonder time capturing this beautiful family in their home . To say that their home is downright stunning - is an understatement! I usually have quite a few tricks up my sleeves when I am photographing indoors. Usually, Mums prepare me that their homes are either dark or small or messy - something that always requires attention. And I’m absolutely fine with that. Real families live in real homes and I prepare for that. But I didn’t have to use any tricks this gorgeous home! They had done it up recently and you could see the love they had put into each corner of it.
They had two lovely boys 5 and 1 year olds. For children this small, in-home shoots are such an amazing option and I am glad this family opted for that. Boys were in their own comfort zone and completely in control.
We started in their play room where the older one showed me his prowess at building huge Paw Patrol puzzles - he was really good! :) Younger one was still warming up to me at this point and had a cue cuddle with Mum.
After that we took the party to the sitting room. Both boys had a lot of fun jumping on the couch here. Dad also joyously threw the boys onto the couch one by one. I really am not sure who had more fun here - the boys or Dad!
After such a high energy session, it was time for some downtime. Mum took the children to the master bedroom where they all cuddled together for story time. Younger one was super cheeky and got away after a few minutes - but not before I captured his victorious grin on the camera!
Both the kids were hungry by this point. Their parents made quick arrangements for dinner which they both ate up sweetly, without any fuss. Bless.
We ended the session with playtime in their backyard so that parents could get some outdoor shots as well. Kids had a blast playing outside and honestly, so did I capturing their lovely times!
